Reaching Elfin Cove

To get to Elfin Cove you will want to fly into Juneau Alaska, Alaska's capital city.  You can either make your own flight reservations or you if you would like you can go through one of our preferred travel agency listed below:

Your experience will start once you land in Juneau. You start by meeting your float plane pilots and the other guests coming to the lodge. You board one of "Ward Airs aircrafts while it sits in the water on the second runway at Juneau International airport. Flying 85 miles west through the Icy straights of South East Alaska.

Many people see a wide variety of wildlife on this 45~50 minute journey. Whales, eagles, bears and other Alaskan wildlife will catch your eye as you make your way out to the fishing paradise.

As you approach Elfin Cove, you will find yourself in a different world. Where the only highway is a wooden planked boardwalk around the small fishing community. No cars, no pavement, just a fishing village located in some of the best fishing grounds in Alaska.

You will want to pack light, usually a duffel bag with a change of clothes or two. We do your laundry everyday to make it easier for you to pack. The reason why we do this is so that when you return to your home you can check your fish and put your clean clothes in the overhead bins.

You are welcome to bring all your own fishing if gear if you want but we provide the top quality fishing gear picked for our fishing environment.
